Good article with input from the local hams. I am concerned that...
"These radio operators can exchange greetings and talk on common interests on any topic except politics, religion and business to any of the other members spread across the globe."
I'l remember that when talking wiht Indian hams in the future.

it's not only Indian hams that have this restriction. Most European hams have the same restrictions and a lot of others have even stricter rules.

Holey Cow. I thought that amateur radio was for talking around the world, and getting to know others with the same interest. Politics, and religion do not belong on the amateur radio waves. Your job, other hobbies, and much much more to talk about. Thats why I like HF so much, just get on and rag chew with a total stranger, and come out with a new friend. It's a great hobby and service in times of need, so lets PLEASE keep it just that. MY $.02 worth, so now I'm broke HI. 73 de W5ROY Roy
