So I brought this off ebay last night I do have a question since I want to use it just for APRS.
I understand this is a 6 pin connection for the mic over the more common 8 pin connection.
I was wondering what other ways I could connect my TT4 up?

I have the lower power model of that radio (7930) setup as a full-time digi. What I did was drill a tiny hole in the back of the case and run a short section of cable up to the back side of the mic jack. I soldered my necessary connections there. This way, if I want to take it off APRS and use it on voice, I can still plug my mic in on the front.
