Radio Row Artifacts for National 9/11 Memorial Reply
by EXWA2KJG on October 1, 2008 Mail this to a friend!
I was a ham while in high school (WA2KJG 1959-1962) and used to go to Radio Row in Lower Manhattan to buy gear. This area was bulldozed for the construction of the World Trade Center. I'm now a photojournalist who covered 9/11 and am contributing to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. The curators there are going to present the history of the WTC, and asked me if I knew anyone who had equipment or memorabilia from Radio Row. I wish I still had mine! If any of you have anything pertaining to Radio Row that you'd like to donate, please let me know. Thanks!
