What is the best band/freq for beginers slow speed CW qso ? I am on very late pm & early am - Thx & 73

check out any of the SKCC (http://skccgroup.com) Frequencies. Late PM early AM would lead you toward:
40 meters 7.055 and also between 7.110 and 7.120
80 meters 3.550
Also call CQ at the speed you can copy and usually someone will answer you at your speed!

I agree with the previous post. I'm pretty slow, and I've had good luck around 7.055 give or take 7kHz.
I've heard that part of the band referred to as "the sandbox" hi.

I'm usually scanning 7.03ish-7.065 or so. I can usually find something in there, but I am looking a little earlier than you. Also check 80 meters although I'm not finding as many of us "slower" ops on 80. I'd ask to set up a sked with you, but I'm usually nodding off around 0200 utc and 80m would maybe be better for us. Unless that would work for you?

I agree 7.050 thru 7.115. I'm having great success having qso's with ops like myself who are relatively new to CW. Good luck!
