FT-847 Voice Keyer Reply

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but maybe someone has done this.

Has anyone interfaced their computer audio output to the an FT-847?
Specifically, I would like to use the N3FJP logging software and use a .wav file to call CQ for contesting.

I believe the only way to do this is connect the speaker output of the computer to the MIC input of the FT-847, not the packet port and not the data in/out port.

Perhaps this is just an issue of setting levels, but I wanted to see if anyone had done this.

Thanks!
