The best enhancement for the IC-7000
|

Description: This IC-7000 external high resolution, TFT, LCD monitor made by K1HZ is a fantastic means to increase the viewing size of your IC-7000 2 inch monitor. It produced a viewing area that is full color and is about 15 tomes larger than the IC-7000's monitor. His product includes all cables needed to interface to the IC-7000 as well as three different monitor stands, a 117 volt a/c to 12 volt DC wall wart, a 12 volt cigar lighter plug and finished cable, remote control and full instructions for interfacing to the IC-7000. No modification of the IC-7000 is required. It is truly a plug and play addition for use in the home or mobile environment. All this for $129 plus shipping. K1HZ contact at rwferris@tx.rr.com

THE MONITORE I HAVE BEEN USING WITH THE IC7000 IS FROM HALFORDS UK, IT COSTS £59.99,IT WORKS A TREAT AND COMES WITH ALL THE BITS,YOU CAN ADJUST THE PICTURE FROM WIDE SCREEN TO NORMAL,IT LOOKS GOOD ALONG SIDE THE RADIO SAME SURROUND COLOR, THE MODEL IS VENTURER DVD SLAVE SCREEN PVS7981S.

Nice Addition

I purchased one of his monitors and it arrived well packed, in a timely manner, and with specific instructions regarding interface to the IC 7000. The interface cable was also provided.
The particular model I received from him was the Michley 7". Works great, looks great, and adds pleasure to using the IC 7000.

Great color monitor!

As an Icom 7000 owner I've been very satisfied with how well it performs, but before long the 2" display became irritable looking at.
That's when I came across a classified for this 7" color monitor. K1HZ modifies these TFT color monitors for the IC7000. The unit is made by Curtis model RT700. So far I'm very happy with it, and I recommend doing yourself a favor in getting one. The older you get the harder it is too see. Why make it any worse!
Ron Harris is a ham pleasure to do business with, and am glad I came across his add. At a low cost of $115. shipped I didn't go wrong.
